Leslie grew up in Alaska, is a resident of Palmer and makes her home on the Springer Loop System. She recognizes the value of protecting farmland and wanted to ensure that the agriculture industry remains a viable choice for the next generation of Alaskans.

Daniel has lived in Alaska since 1996 and the Mat-Su Valley since 2003.  His family loves the Valley for its many landscapes including its farms and farmland.  Daniel oversees lands and resources matters for Bristol Bay Native Corporation and brings legal and natural resources management experience to the Alaska Farmland Trust.  New to the Board in late 2021, Daniel looks forward to this opportunity to work on farmland preservation and ensuring the qualities that make the Mat-Su Valley so special today continue to exist for all Alaskans far into the future.
