Farmland Forever Fest is back with TWO bands this year! Get pumped up with Triple Black Diamonds from 5:00-6:30pm and then chill out with Alaska’s favorite Hawaiian reggae band H3 from 6:30-9:00pm! And of course we’ll have your favorite food trucks and beverages available so come join us!

Drive your tractor to work day

Location: Downtown Palmer Parade Route
Join us for a celebration of agriculture at Drive Your Tractor to Work Day! The Tractor Parade will start at the AK State Fairgrounds, then head down South Chugach Street to South Valley Way, then loop through Palmer up South Alaska Street, and end at the Palmer Pavilion for an Alaska Grown breakfast.
Tractor Drivers should arrive at the fairgrounds “purple lot” by approximately 8:30 AM.
Food Security through Agriculture Workshop

Location: Alaska State Fairgrounds
Hosted by Alaska Farmland Trust, Alaska Pacific University, and UAF Cooperative Extension Service
Join us for this free event and learn how agriculture can support food security in Alaska. All interest levels are welcome! Understand the big picture of food and farming in our state, build skills in self-sufficiency with hands-on presentations, or learn to generate income with what you grow. It’s all there for you to discover!
Attendees may join any presentation throughout the day. All day attendance is not required. Presentations are designed for adults; children are welcome but must remain with a supervising adult.
Refreshments and door prizes from 2pm-4pm!
Location Details: 2 venues on Alaska State Fairgrounds
• Main Venue: Event Building on Purple Trail EVENT CHECK IN HERE (north end of fairgrounds, park in the “purple lot”)
• Secondary Venue: Rebarchek Farm will host hands-on and livestock presentations. (Rebarchek Ave on south end of fairgrounds, enter via “red lot” and follow signage)
