The Mott Farm
“I was very close to my parents. I saw them do without to save the land they loved. I will feel forever blessed to have been raised on this land. Now that the land is mine and my husband’s and will be willed to my daughter and then to her son, we want to be able to care for the land and honor my father’s wishes to keep it undeveloped… The animals love to use it and I feel we are protecting and preserving the land for upcoming generations. We all so desperately need to instill the need in others for maintaining good land to feed us and our animals, to keep good habitat for the wildlife that was here first, and most importantly to keep the land from being destroyed by building roads, homes and businesses on it which would forever render it useless for its best purposes.”
